Last week, in looking at the available Google services that we can turn on for our domain, we discovered that users could be 'anonymous' while using Google Moderator.
As it turns out, I think the same is true for Blogger.
Any member of JIS Google can hide their profile, change their name, even change their 'contact' email address, and because Blogger is not an 'officially supported' service, there is no way for the school to stop/change or discover this.
I do like Blogger as a tool, but I think this is important information to bring to light.
On the positive news front, the 'human' verification issue that was happening after a certain number of users created blogs (requiring phone verification) seems to have resolved itself.
Also of note, is that Moodle 2 has a new blog interface that may be worth exploring.
